Flock

The idea for Flock came about whilst walking through the basement offices at Gramercy Park Studios and realising the amazing potential to hold some cool events. I wanted to share my passion and enthusiasm for our industry by starting an evening of creative collaboration whilst celebrating artists we truly admire. 

The aim, to curate exhibitions and host one-off events where people can Flock to GPS to see their favourite contemporaries give stimulating talks, make live art and host a range of inspiring evenings.

Our first show was: 01. Popshot Magazine

Dubbed ‘The Illustrated Magazine of New Writing’, Popshot is an illustrated literary magazine that publishes short stories, flash fiction, and poetry from the literary new blood. With its first issue launched in 2009, the magazine has become known for its partnerships between young writers and illustrators, publishing over 200 collaborations since its inception.

After curating, I designed the poetry and illustrations for the gallery walls, organised all the printing, installation, and launch party.
